Saturate & Radiate is built around the idea of the imagined wall, a surface that doesn’t exist in any single physical location but feels familiar in its accumulation of visual noise, history, and cultural fragments.

While many works document or reconstruct urban walls using collage and found materials, this exhibition takes a different approach. Instead of replicating the surface itself, these works reinterpret its visual logic: layering, interruption, overlap, and accidental harmony. The result is not a reproduction of a wall, but a translation of how one behaves over time.

Birds, masked luchadors, and recognizable pop culture figures appear throughout the work as shifting fragments, icons pulled from different contexts and placed into new relationships. They are not fixed symbols, but recurring presences within a larger, evolving field of imagery.

A limited palette of vivid Day-Glo colors anchors the compositions, intensifying the sense of contrast and collision. Patterns repeat and break apart. Forms stack, drift, and interfere with one another, echoing the way urban surfaces are continuously edited by weather, time, advertising, and human intervention.

Saturate & Radiate is less about depicting a place and more about constructing a feeling, the sense of standing before a wall that is always changing, always partially readable, and never fully resolved.
