The Manual Gallery 303 started with a simple idea: that art shouldn't be gatekept by the wealthy, hidden behind intimidating spaces, or priced out of reach.
We're a small, neighborhood-rooted gallery. We don't chase trends or wait for permission from the art world. We just try to put good, honest work in front of people who might not otherwise come across it.
The name says it: manual. Made by hand. Slow on purpose. We believe that craft and patience still mean something, and that a community is richer when it has a place to gather around art that was actually made by someone.
Exhibit Your Work
The Manual Gallery 303 is always looking for artists who are interested in sharing their work through a solo exhibition. We welcome artists working in a wide range of media, including painting, printmaking, drawing, photography, sculpture, fiber, mixed media, digital work, and other experimental practices.
If you're interested in exhibiting, please complete the form. We'll ask for your contact information, the primary medium you work in, and a brief introduction to your work.
Before any exhibition is scheduled, we'll arrange a short video conversation. This gives us an opportunity to meet, learn more about your practice, discuss your ideas, and make sure the gallery is a good fit for your work. It's also a chance for you to ask questions about the exhibition process.
While we can't guarantee every submission will result in an exhibition, we carefully review each one and appreciate your interest in becoming part of the Manual Gallery 303 community.
Authenticity Over Algorithms
Algorithms reward noise. We're interested in something quieter. Manual Gallery 303 has a social media presence because artists deserve visibility, but we refuse to let the metrics drive the mission.
