For The Public Good. Through Public Art.

Our Story

The Manual Gallery 303 started with a simple idea: that art shouldn't be gatekept by the wealthy, hidden behind intimidating spaces, or priced out of reach.

We're a small gallery rooted in a neighborhood. We don't chase trends or wait for permission from the art world. We just try to put good, honest work in front of people who might not otherwise come across it.

The name says it: manual. Made by hand. Slow on purpose. We believe that craft and patience still mean something, and that a community is richer when it has a place to gather around art that was actually made by someone.

Our Need

Looking for a Video Editor to Collaborate With

As Manual Gallery 303 continues to grow, I’m realizing there are a few areas where I could really use help from people with stronger skills than mine. One of those areas is video editing.

I’m looking for someone experienced with Adobe Premiere and After Effects to help create exhibit show reels and 15-second promotional videos for each gallery exhibit. The goal isn’t flashy content or chasing algorithms—it’s creating thoughtful, cinematic pieces that support the gallery's artwork and atmosphere.

Right now, the gallery is very small and fully self-funded, so I can’t offer traditional pay. What I can offer is trade services, artwork, prints, branding/design work, or other creative collaboration.

I know talented editors are busy and in demand, but I wanted to put this out into the world in case someone connects with the project and wants to help build something meaningful.

If that sounds like you, please reach out.

Authenticity Over Algorithms

Algorithms reward noise. We're interested in something quieter. Manual Gallery 303 has a social media presence because artists deserve visibility, but we refuse to let the metrics drive the mission.

We're on social media. We're not of it. The best way to stay connected isn't through a feed — it's through our newsletter. No middleman, no algorithm deciding whether you see it. Just a direct line to what's happening at the gallery: upcoming exhibits, events, and artist features, alongside exclusive offers, shop discounts, and material you won't find anywhere else. It's free to sign up, and it's the closest thing we have to a real community bulletin board.
